Where did you buy your Akando? How long did it take? Why did you choose this purchase method?
I bought my Akando directly from Iplehouse website.
It arrived after 3 months.
I prefer to buy directly from doll companies if I can.
Why did you choose Akando?(What factored in your decision to choose it? Like was it it’s skintone, body, posing, and so on?)
The fact that it was something totally new and there is still nothing like the IED body in the market.
What parts of your Akando do you find different from the company’s photo’s/information on Akando’s?(For example, do it’s eyes seem bigger in real life than the photos, is it’s sculpt more dimensional in real life than the photos, is it taller than the height stated by the company, and so on.)
The doll looks huge in the photos but in person it is more than huge, it is massive and maybe a bit too much for my taste. I find it different from the photos but just cause to see in photos and to hold in hands is totally a different thing
Who did the face up? If custom, why did you choose this face up?
The face up was original but than I gave him to Cycy to have him repainted, cause he was too much “good guy looking” for my taste.
Where do you get your Akando’s clothes? If bought, are you happy with the selection available for your Akando? If not, what do you wish more for? If you make your Akando’s clothes yourself, is it easy to find material to make clothes for your Akando? Is it difficult or easy to make clothes for a doll this size?
I bought them directly from Iplehouse and no, there is not a good selection of clothes available for him, in different syles.
Are you happy with the posing/body/sculpt?(For example, do you wish the doll was taller, more range in joint movements, a smile, and so on.)
I could say I wish the doll taller than 70cm and more slender.

Very informative interview. The questions led to answers that educated me about the Akando BJD. Atomic Kitty is very informed about her doll and her photographs very professional.

I loved Viktor the first picture I saw of him. On her website I was astounded by his look. He is a great doll and I think this interview was very informative and interesting.
